Tirana International Airport (TIA) today welcomed the inaugural FlyOne Armenia flight, marking the beginning of a new partnership and the restoration of direct air connectivity between Albania and Armenia.
The new route will operate twice weekly, every Monday and Thursday, offering greater travel opportunities for passengers between the two countries for tourism, business, and personal travel purposes.
Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, returns to TIA’s destination network, strengthening regional connectivity and further expanding the airport’s international route offering.
FlyOne Armenia, part of the FlyOne Group, is one of the fastest-growing airlines in the region. Known for its expanding network and commitment to providing affordable and convenient travel options, the airline continues to strengthen its presence across European markets and develop new international connections.
“We are pleased to welcome FlyOne Armenia to TIA and to see the return of Yerevan as a direct destination from Tirana. Every new route contributes to strengthening Albania’s international connectivity and creating new opportunities for our passengers,” said Piervittorio Farabbi, Chief Operating Officer of Tirana International Airport “Nënë Tereza”.
“Launching direct flights between Yerevan and Tirana is an important milestone in the continued expansion of FLYONE ARMENIA’s route network. Albania is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for Armenian travelers, combining rich culture, beautiful nature, warm hospitality, and great tourism potential. We are pleased to offer our passengers a new and convenient opportunity to discover this unique country, while also strengthening air connectivity between Armenia and the Balkan region,” said Hayk Hakobyan, Commercial Director of FLYONE ARMENIA.
